About Tanya E Crockett
Biography/ Philosophy of Care
Tanya E. Crockett, DNP, APRN, is a pediatric nurse practitioner with Norton Children’s Emergency Medicine. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice degrees from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.
Tanya believes one of the most important parts of her work is partnering with caregivers. She enjoys helping families better understand and support their child’s physical, developmental and emotional needs. She is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.
Outside of work, Tanya enjoys spending time with her husband, their children and grandchildren, and their dog. She also enjoys running, exercising, traveling, reading, cooking and cheering on University of Kentucky basketball.
