Biography/ Philosophy of Care
Dr. Schultz joined the faculty in the Division of Neonatal Medicine at the University of Louisville and the medical staff at Norton Children’s Hospital after completing his Neonatal Fellowship here in Louisville in 2004. Since then, he has been committed to the babies and the families of Kentuckiana by providing them with state of the art care. Dr. Schultz specializes in managing infants that are premature or have life threatening conditions. He also relishes his role in educating future doctors, residents, fellows and nurses so they can pursue their own passion. His practice philosophy is to treat all babies in the same manner that he would want his children to be care for.
He is married to Angie and they have three children, Laiken, Maddie and Sam.
