Biography/ Philosophy of Care
Sedona Horner, PA-C, is a physician assistant with Norton Children’s Emergency Medicine. She earned her degree in physician assistant studies from Sullivan University in Louisville.
As a physician assistant in the pediatric emergency department, Sedona works closely with doctors to assess and treat patients, performing procedures and providing care for kids with conditions such as breathing issues, injuries and infections.
She believes that the best care starts with listening. Her goal is to support children and families by building trust, showing compassion and using the best medical evidence available. She focuses on cultural understanding and emotional awareness to help families feel confident in the care their child receives.
Sedona is originally from Monterey, California. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, reading, being outdoors, exercising and baking sourdough bread. She loves spending time with her labrador retriever, Rosie, especially when they go swimming together.
