About Rose A Hawkins
Biography/ Philosophy of Care
Rose Hawkins, M.D., is a pediatrician with Norton Children’s Medical Group. She earned her medical degree and completed her residency at the UofL School of Medicine. She completed her pediatrics residency at the UofL School of Medicine, where she is now completing fellowship training in pediatric pulmonology. Dr. Hawkins also holds a master’s degree in clinical investigation sciences. She is board certified in pediatrics.
Dr. Hawkins partners with families to create treatment plans that support their goals while improving each child’s health. Her care philosophy is centered on making sure every patient and caregiver feels heard. Her training has focused on respiratory health, asthma and chronic lung disease in children. These areas of expertise guide her work as she continues her advanced training in pulmonology.
Outside of work, Dr. Hawkins enjoys reading, writing and spending time with her family and pets.
