Biography/ Philosophy of Care
Rebecca M. Callahan, D.O., is a pediatric hospital medicine specialist with Norton Children’s Inpatient Care, affiliated with the UofL School of Medicine. Dr. Callahan earned her medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Pennsylvania. She completed her residency in pediatrics at Geisinger Medical Center in Mechanicsville, Pennsylvania, and a fellowship in pediatric hospital medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.
Dr. Callahan enjoys caring for children who are admitted to the hospital, and she is always happy when they feel better and she gets to release them to their families.
She spends her free time trying different workout classes and relaxes by doing puzzles and reading.
