Biography/ Philosophy of Care
Phillip Chuong, M.D., is a pediatrician with Norton Children’s Emergency Medicine. Dr. Chuong earned his medical degree from the UofL School of Medicine, where he also completed his pediatric residency. He is certified in pediatric advanced life support and neonatal resuscitation.
As a pediatric provider, Dr. Chuong cares for children of all ages. He uses the latest medical guidelines and research to help his patients stay healthy and recover from illness. He makes it a priority to treat every patient and family with respect, listening carefully to their concerns and making sure they feel valued.
Dr. Chuong believes that excellent care starts with strong communication and a personal connection. His goal is for all families to feel heard and supported while working together to improve their child’s health.
Outside of work, Dr. Chuong enjoys watching and playing sports such as basketball, football, tennis and pickleball. He also loves exploring new cuisines and is a fan of movie trivia.
