Biography/ Philosophy of Care
Nicholas E. Yates, M.D., is a pediatrician with Norton Children’s Gastroenterology. He earned his medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine, and completed his pediatrics residency at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, Ohio.
He believes in meeting patients and families where they are and working together to create shared goals for care. He values the insight parents bring and combines that with his medical expertise to help children and young adults live healthy, happy lives.
Outside of work, Dr. Yates enjoys following University of Louisville sports, jogging at Cherokee Park, brewing his own beer and trying new coffee shops and restaurants with his wife.
