Megan M Millmann, PsyD

Megan M. Millmann, Psy.D., is a pediatric psychologist with Norton Children’s Behavioral & Mental Health, affiliated with the UofL School of Medicine. She earned her master’s degree in clinical psychology from Missouri State University, and her doctorate in health service psychology from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. Dr. Millmann completed her residency in pediatric psychology at University of Vermont Medical Center and a fellowship in pediatric consultation-liaison and hematology/oncology at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital.
Her primary clinical interests are in pediatric psychology, specifically inpatient medical settings and patients with complex medical conditions. Her goal as a psychologist is to provide comprehensive services tailored to each patient that align with the patients’ and families’ values. Dr. Millmann is committed to delivering brief, evidence-based assessment and treatment to children, adolescents and families with acute and/or chronic medical conditions to promote psychological health and well-being.
An important part of her role is coordinating patients’ care with their medical providers and ensuring collaboration between teams and families. Common concerns she may address include coping with a medical condition, adherence to a medical regimen, medical-related trauma, end-of-life issue, disruptive behaviors, anxiety and depression.
Dr. Millmann also is an assistant professor at the University of Louisville School of Medicine and serves as co-director of the pediatric consultation-liaison service.
