Biography/ Philosophy of Care
Megan C. Kemp, M.D., is a pediatric anesthesiologist who works with Norton Children’s Anesthesiology. She earned her medical degree from The University of Queensland Ochsner Clinical School in New Orleans, LA. She completed her residency in anesthesia and perioperative medicine at the Medical College of Georgia, Augusta, and a fellowship in pediatric anesthesia at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. Kemp also completed an additional year of specialized training in pediatric cardiac anesthesia at Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University, Indianapolis.
Dr. Kemp chose to focus on caring for children with congenital heart disease because it is a fast-growing field with ongoing research and new treatments. She values the chance to build strong relationships with patients and families and to provide consistent, supportive care throughout their medical journey.
