Biography/ Philosophy of Care

Megan B. Coriell M.D., is a pediatric endocrinologist with Norton Children’s Endocrinology, affiliated with the UofL School of Medicine. Dr. Coriell earned her medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. She completed her pediatric residency with Medical College of Georgia, Augusta, and a fellowship in pediatric endocrinology with the University of Louisville School of Medicine. She is board certified in pediatric endocrinology and general pediatrics. During her education, she received many awards such as the Chair’s Achievement Award and the New Investigator Award in 2023.
Dr. Coriell was drawn to endocrinology because of the diagnostic pathways and continuity of care that she has with her patients. She begins patient visits by asking what her patient’s concerns are and why they came to the office. She enjoys actively listening and helping set up expectations throughout the visit for the child and their family.
Outside of work, Dr. Coriell enjoys arts and crafts such as cross-stitch, painting, scrapbooking and photography. She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
