Laurie M Grimes, PhD

Laurie M. Grimes, Ph.D., is a pediatric psychologist with Norton Children’s Medical Group, affiliated with the UofL School of Medicine. She earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from Vanderbilt University Department of Psychology and Human Development, Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. Grimes completed her predoctoral internship in child clinical and pediatric psychology and her postdoctoral fellowship in pediatric psychology through the University of Louisville Department of Psychiatry and Norton Children’s Behavioral & Mental Health, affiliated with the UofL School of Medicine.

Dr. Grimes works with children from newborns to age 18 and their families, addressing a range of developmental, social-emotional and psychiatric challenges. She has specialized in early intervention and the care of children ages 5 and under. In her practice, Dr. Grimes partners with children and their families to identify and address mental health factors that interrupt overall functioning and wellness.
