Laura B Bishop, MD

Laura B. Bishop, M.D., practices pediatric hospital medicine with Norton Children’s Inpatient Care . She earned her medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine, and completed her residency in pediatrics at University of Louisville Hospital. She is trained in internal medicine/pediatrics and board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. 
Dr. Bishop also serves as associate director for the Med-Peds Residency Associate Program at the University of Louisville and is passionate about medical education in and out of the classroom. She specializes in medical education, free open-access medical education, substance use disorder and quality improvement.
Dr. Bishop strives to provide comprehensive, inclusive and compassionate care to her patients and their families. She enjoys using a team approach that includes nurses, residents and ancillary staff to engage those in her care.
