Kristen Rao, MD

Kristen E. Rao, M.D., is a pediatric anesthesiologist with Pediatric Anaesthesia Associates, an independent practice that provides anesthesia services at Norton Children’s Hospital and Norton Children’s Medical Center. . She earned her medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. Dr. Rao completed her residency in general pediatrics and anesthesiology and a fellowship in pediatric anesthesiology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois.

Dr. Rao is board certified in pediatrics, anesthesiology and pediatric anesthesiology. She brings a comprehensive and specialized skill set to her practice, providing exceptional care to her young patients. Her extensive training and commitment to pediatric care ensure that her patients receive the highest quality of anesthesia management tailored to their unique needs.

Outside of work, Dr. Rao enjoys reading novels and playing piano.
