Kirby A Talman, PA-C

Kirby A. Talman, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant with Norton Children’s Orthopedics of Louisville, affiliated with the UofL School of Medicine. She earned her bachelor’s degree in kinesiology with a concentration in athletic training from Longwood University, Farmville, Virginia. She then earned master’s degrees in physician assistant studies from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, and exercise science with a concentration in exercise physiology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, respectively.
In her current role, Kirby draws on her experience as a certified athletic trainer for high school athletics, working with athletes and treating sports injuries. Her philosophy is centered on treating the patient, not just the diagnosis, and she is dedicated to providing up-to-date, evidence-based, comprehensive care. Kirby tailors prevention and health plans to meet her patients’ individual needs, ensuring that children can return to the activities they love.
Outside of work, Kirby finds joy in training for her next marathon.
