Biography/ Philosophy of Care
Dr. Havlin joined the University of Louisville, Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Critical Care in 2019. A Cincinnati native that has become an adopted Louisvillian over the last 7 years, he is excited to be startng his career caring for critically ill and injured children where he now considers “home”.

Clinical: Pediatric Neuro-critical care; Extracorporeal support; Post-operative management of complex congenital heart disease
Research: Infrared Pupillometry; Long-term neuropsychological outcomes following ECMO; ECMO anticoagulation
