Biography/ Philosophy of Care
Following Pediatric Residency training at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and fellowship training in Cincinnati, Dr. Mehta was a founding member of Neonatal Intensive Care Experts, the first Neonatology group in Kentucky to set the standard of 24/7 in-house attending level NICU coverage. This practice group, with a focus of evidence based medicine and family centered care was acquired by Norton Healthcare in 2012. For over 20 years, Dr. Mehta has been caring for newborns in Louisville and has been an active physician leader within Norton Healthcare.
