Biography/ Philosophy of Care

Following fellowship in Cincinnati, Dr. Cohen was a founding member of Neonatal Intensive Care Experts, the first Neonatology group in Kentucky to set the standard of 24/7 in-house attending level NICU coverage. This practice group, with a focus of evidence based medicine and family centered care merged with Norton Healthcare in 2012. Dr. Cohen has been active within the Children’s Hospital, including establishing the Pediatric Bioethics Committee and serving as Chair of the Committee for ten years. 
Dr. Cohen is a strong proponent of delivering effective and evidence based clinical care.
Dr. Cohen has been voted by his peers as one of Louisville Magazine’s Top Docs for 2019.
