Biography/ Philosophy of Care

Johanna Said, D.O., is a pediatric emergency medicine specialist with Norton Children’s Emergency Medicine. Dr. Said earned her medical degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, after completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Miami. She strives to provide compassionate, expert care to children of all ages, treating a range of medical illnesses and injuries.

 Dr. Said practices patient- and family-centered care, striving to ensure that patients and families feel comfortable and well-informed during their time in the emergency department. Her clinical interests include injury prevention and asthma management, with a commitment to delivering excellent care tailored to each patient’s needs.

 Outside of work, Dr. Said enjoys traveling, exploring good food, and spending quality time with her family.
