Jennifer H Tasman, MD

Jennifer H. Tasman, M.D., is a pediatric hospital medicine physician with Norton Children’s Inpatient Care, affiliated with the UofL School of Medicine. She he earned her medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine and completed her pediatric residency at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, Ohio.

As a pediatric hospitalist, Dr. Tasman provides care for children and adolescents who are admitted to the hospital. She also serves as associate medical director for the pediatric unit at Norton Women’s & Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Tasman’s advocacy and clinical interests include breastfeeding medicine, antimicrobial stewardship, and the early recognition and treatment of pediatric sepsis. In addition to her clinical responsibilities, she is an assistant professor of pediatrics at the University of Louisville School of Medicine, where she is involved in the medical education of students, residents and fellows. She also serves on the board of the Kentucky chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics as a member at large.

Dr. Tasman is originally from Louisville. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, checking out new restaurants in Louisville and attending concerts.
