Emily K Robbins, M.S., CCC – SLP

Emily is a speech – language pathologist, specializing with children who are deaf/hard of hearing. She completed her M.S. at the University of Kentucky in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2011 and is currently working toward her certification as an Auditory Verbal Therapist in Listening and Spoken Language. She uses an evidence-based coaching model, with a focus on counseling and coaching families on ways to support listening and spoken language in daily routines.

Emily serves children with hearing loss, birth to 21 years of age, including children with complex communication needs, and those that have chosen an alternative communication outcome. Emily is motivated by the belief that parents and caregivers are their child’s first and best teacher, and should be given equitable access, education, and support to make informed decisions about their child’s hearing healthcare.
