Biography/ Philosophy of Care

Dr. Bridget Hempel joined the University of Louisville Division of Neonatology in 2015. In addition to her role as faculty member for the Division, she is the medical director of the Hardin Memorial Hospital (soon to be renamed Baptist Health Hardin) NICU.  She has a strong interest in Ethics and is attending Loyola University Chicago to pursue her Masters in Ethics and Health Policy.  She is currently the Chair of the Hardin Memorial Hospital Ethics Committee.
