About Avery M Pryor

Biography/ Philosophy of Care

Avery M. Pryor, APRN, is a neonatal nurse practitioner with Norton Children’s Neonatology. He earned his master’s degree in nursing from UofL School of Nursing.

Avery has a special interest in caring for extremely premature infants, exploring different neonatal respiratory ventilation methods, and researching treatments for newborns with neonatal opioid withdrawal syndrome.

Outside of work, Avery is dedicated to advancing neonatal care through research and clinical innovation, to help ensure the best possible outcomes for his patients and their families.
