Angelena B Edwards, MD

Angelena B. Edwards, M.D., is a pediatric urologist with Norton Children’s Urology, affiliated with the UofL School of Medicine. Dr. Edwards earned her medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine, where she also completed her residency. She completed her fellowship in pediatric urology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.

Dr. Edwards’ clinical interests include genitourinary reconstruction, hypospadias repair, prenatally detected hydronephrosis, vesicoureteral reflux, ureteropelvic junction obstruction, undescended testes and lower urinary tract dysfunction. She also performs minimally invasive and robotic surgeries.

As a pediatric urologist, Dr. Edwards has the opportunity to build relationships with families, sometimes even before their babies are born, and feels honored to care for their children as they grow into young adults. Seeing how strong and resilient these amazing kids are is truly inspiring to her.

Dr. Edwards is a Louisville native. When away from work, she enjoys spending time with her family and walking with her Labrador retriever.
