Amy M Barry, APRN

Amy M. Barry, APRN, is a nurse practitioner with Norton Children’s Neonatology, affiliated with the UofL School of Medicine. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at the University of Louisville School of Nursing in Kentucky. Throughout her nursing career, Amy has dedicated her expertise to the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) at Norton Children’s Hospital.
With a focus on postpartum depression and maternal mental health care, Amy recognizes the importance of maternal well-being alongside infant health. Striving to provide family-centered care, she creates an environment where parents can truly feel like parents while their infants are in the NICU. Amy is excited to continue growing her career at Norton Children’s Hospital in a leadership position, and is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of infants and their families.
Outside of work, Amy enjoys exploring Louisville and staying active with her dogs.
