Aaron J Samide, MD

Aaron J. Samide, M.D., is a pediatric hospital medicine specialist with Norton Children’s Inpatient Care, affiliated with the UofL School of Medicine. Dr. Samide earned his medical degree from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, Lexington, and completed his pediatrics residency, chief residency and pediatric hospital medicine fellowship at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Dr. Samide provides comprehensive care while collaborating with fellow health care providers and families to ensure the best outcomes for children. He has a strong interest in resident education and was among the first in the nation to be certified as a coach in medical education through the Council on Medical Student Education in Pediatrics (COMSEP) Coach Certificate Program. His research has focused on optimizing direct observation and feedback for trainees.
A Louisville native, Dr. Samide is delighted to be back home, where he enjoys spending time with his family and playing tennis during his free time.
