Thomas E McCormick, MD

Thomas E. McCormick, M.D., is a pediatrician with Norton Children's Medical Group – Hikes Point, and serves on the medical executive committee for pediatrics at Norton Women's & Children's Hospital. He earned his medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine, where he also completed his residency in pediatrics, and served as administrative chief resident.

Dr. McCormick strives to create a comfortable environment for children during their medical visits, often using humor to put them at ease. He understands the importance of respecting parents' concerns and enjoys engaging with families, recognizing that their children are the most important part of their lives. Next to being with his family, his greatest joy is feeling he has helped someone during a difficult time.

A Louisville native, Dr. McCormick serves as a team doctor for his alma mater, St. Xavier High School. Outside of work, he leads a busy life, but still finds time to go on vacation with his wife. They are always available for their four children and grandchildren, which brings them joy and occupies much of their time. Dr. McCormick is involved in various ministries at his parish, St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church. Although not good at golf, he still enjoys the walk.
