Biography/ Philosophy of Care
Sarah Khan, M.D., is a board-certified pediatric cardiologist with Norton Children’s Heart Institute. She earned her medical degree from Ziauddin Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan. She completed her pediatrics residency at Jefferson Einstein Philadelphia Hospital, Pennsylvania, followed by a pediatric cardiology fellowship at Corewell Health Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital through Michigan State University, Grand Rapids. She also completed advanced fellowship training at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Khan cares for children with heart muscle disease and heart failure, and those who may need or have received a heart transplant. She believes in providing compassionate care for children and their families. She works closely with families to guide complex decisions and focuses on helping children maintain the best possible quality of life.
Outside of work, Dr. Khan enjoys spending time with her toddler, hosting friends and family, and doing embroidery and crochet.
