Biography/ Philosophy of Care
I have always been interested in being a doctor and working with kids. As a premed in college, I learned of the NICU for the first time in my life. Unfortunately, it was due to a tragedy in the family and not a positive experience. The second NICU experience was during medical school and it was very different for me. Something clicked into place and I knew that this was where I am meant to be. I have seen life in the NICU from both sides, giving me the strength to deal with difficult situations.

Clinical: I enjoy being a NICU “nocturnist” working primarily at night to admit and stabilize new patients to the NICU as well as provide continuity to current patients of ULP Neonatology.
