Julie K Doering, MD

Julie K. Doering, M.D., is a pediatrician with Norton Children’s Medical Group – Brownsboro. She earned her medical degree from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in Lexington, and completed her pediatrics residency at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

Dr. Doering is passionate about pediatrics because she believes kids bring unmatched energy and joy to life. She enjoys the unique challenges of working with young patients who may not always be able to express their needs directly. Dr. Doering values the opportunity to interact with children and collaborate with their parents to understand and address their health concerns. She finds great reward in building strong relationships with families and helping parents care for their children.

Outside of work, Dr. Doering enjoys spending time with her family, including her two daughters and two beloved dogs, affectionately called their “first babies.” She is an avid runner who participates in half marathons and other races. A Disney enthusiast, Dr. Doering makes it a point to visit the Disney parks at least once a year.
