Biography/ Philosophy of Care
Jessica N. Easterling, M.D., is a pediatrician and sports medicine physician with Norton Children’s Medical Group – Shelbyville. She earned her medical degree from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, Lexington. She completed her residency in pediatrics at Wake Forest University School of Medicine, Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and a fellowship in sports medicine at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine.
Dr. Easterling loves helping kids and finds joy in seeing their progress and growth, especially during tough times. She enjoys the surprises that come with working with children every day as a pediatrician.
In her spare time, Dr. Easterling enjoys being active with her family, whether it’s hiking outside, going to the movies or having movie nights at home. She also enjoys working out at her local YMCA.

Dr. Easterling is also fantastic! We selected her as our children's PCP because we were so impressed with her. It was hard when Dr. Samson retired because we saw him from the time our children were born. Dr. Easterling has made that transition smooth & we are so glad she is our doctor! She's kind, patient & wonderful with my kiddos.

I had a great experience bringing my daughter in. I called and they were able to see us within an hour for an appointment. The front desk staff was super friendly and professional. The nurse was great and interacted with my daughter and the doctor was fantastic and thorough. I am very please with my visit overall and very appreciative that everyone was so nice and understanding and able to get us in in a timely manner.
