Biography/ Philosophy of Care
James A. Tavelli, M.D., earned his bachelor’s degree from Boston College and his medical degree from St. Louis University. He completed his pediatric residency at Kosair Children’s Hospital (now Norton Children’s Hospital).
Dr. Tavelli is board certified in pediatrics and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Kentucky Medical Association.
A native of Salt Lake City, Utah, he enjoys reading in his spare time.

Our visits to this office are always amazing! Everyone from the front desk, nursing staff and physicians are amazing! My son loves Josh and says he makes him feel super comfortable every appointment. The ladies at the front desk are always personable and so helpful!
