Ana C Alvarez, MD

Ana Alvarez, M.D., is a board-certified pediatric dermatologist with Norton Children’s Dermatology. She earned her medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine, Washington, D.C. She completed her pediatrics internship and residency at the University of Louisville School of Medicine, followed by a fellowship in pediatric dermatology at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, Ohio.

Dr. Alvarez specializes in diagnosing and treating skin conditions in babies, children and teenagers. She believes many factors affect a child’s health, and focuses on providing individualized, comprehensive care that supports skin health and overall well-being.

Outside of work, Dr. Alvarez enjoys spending time outdoors running and hiking. She also enjoys traveling with her husband and dog, as well as crafting and working on DIY projects.
